Skills / experience relevant to this role Experienced commercially astute operational leader with over 30 years experience of all aspects of the plastics industry.
Critical thinker with the ability to provide strategic analysis with proactive planning
National and International commercial experience including market research, sales, contract negotiation, new business/market setup and management.
Proven ability to establish, manage and grow businesses and teams.
Able to establish customers in new markets, identify future growth sectors and secure sustainable and profitable supply routes and partnerships.
Skilled at maximising revenue and minimising costs
Able to work to tight deadlines and to meet the needs of 24 hour, 7 days a week, Just in Time business environment.
Able to manage all aspects of a modern business including staffing, legal, compliance, financial and image/branding projection.
P&L Management experience in both an operational and trading environment
Capable of identifying and analysing drivers affecting markets, value and demand for commodities, recyclables and end products.
