Role responsibilities
- Install and commission injection moulding machines and automation at customer sites, ensuring appropriate commissioning inline with the manufacturer’s guidelines.
- Provide on-site technical support to customers, troubleshooting issues with injection moulding machines and automation.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, including service reports and equipment history, using our internal systems.
- Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills, to repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults on injection moulding machines and automation.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers and colleagues, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of technical issues in order to maximize customer satisfaction.
- A willingness to travel the UK and Ireland to meet both customer and company requirements
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Where appropriate support the development of documentation, training within the service team.
- Support cross training of personnel ensuring skills & knowledge gained through formal KraussMaffei training are applied consistently.
- Support all company safety and quality programs and initiatives.
- Other responsibilities may be assigned from time to time as needed, based on the evolution of the company and the requirements of the department/position.

Qualifications/experience required
Qualifications/Experience
- National Certificate/NVQ 3 in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Time served apprenticeship.
- Experience in working in a similar maintenance role/environment.
- Experience of electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Self-disciplined to manage own projects/jobs within the targeted time frame.
