Role responsibilities
- Safe mounting and dismounting of injection mould tools
- Accurate setting of Injection Moulding tools and operating moulding machine
- Tool changes and process set-up
- Machine maintenance
- Tool Trials
- Quality Control
- Responsible for use of engineering machines
- Working in a well-equipped modern tool room
- Modification of injection mould tools
- Preparing new mould tools for production
- Maintenance, repair and modification of Injection Mould Tools
- Experience in general toolmaking, milling, grinding and fitting

Qualifications/experience required
- Industry recognized injection moulding qualifications
- Experience carrying out full tool changes and setting up production machines
- Experience using Arburg/Demag or Haitian machines would be an advantage
- Solid understanding of plastic injection moulding processes and automation
- Experience of working with and carrying out basic preventative maintenance on injection moulding machinery
- Good problem solving skills
- Ability to work effectively to own initiative
