- As a Maintenance Engineer, you will perform the day to day mechanical and electrical maintenance of plant equipment to include injection moulding machinery and associated ancillary equipment, ensuring continuity of production, consistent with the company’s goals and needs
- You will have strong electrical/mechanical applications with proven experience of working within a structured maintenance programme whilst dealing with day-to-day breakdowns, faults and repairs

Role responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electrical/mechanical faults that occur on plant and/or equipment
- Assist with the maintenance programme for all plant and/or equipment (hydraulics, robots, ancillary machines automatic assembly)
- Validate new plant equipment, automation and upgrades
- Process/equipment troubleshooting and failure analysis
- Ensure all items of plant and/or equipment is in good safe working order
- Strive to improve the efficiency and safety of plant and equipment
- Maintain a high standard of record keeping for all repairs and servicing of plant and/or equipment as required for audit, traceability and warranty purposes, in accordance with the Quality Management System

Qualifications/experience required
Requirements:
- Must have experience in Plastic Injection Moulding maintenance & mould machinery equipment servicing. Full training will be provided on all mould machines & ancillaries
- Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical engineering / maintenance
- A good working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and electronic/electrical automation controls
- Qualified electrician with 16th/17th/18th Edition regulations or equivalent
- Logic fault-finding & problem-solving skills
- Experience of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
- Experience of reactive maintenance
- Troubleshooting problems on various types of equipment
- You will be a focused team player with a strong character with the aim to further improving the department
- Full driving licence
