Role and Responsibilities
- Account management of existing customers. Maintain and develop business relationships with key personnel, understand forecasts, trends, manage contracts, identify risks and develop new opportunities.
- Thermoplastic Commodity and / or Engineering thermoplastics
- Identify and develop new customers and opportunities, manage business development projects.
- Be aware of, and work to sales and margin targets.
- Principal and supplier management
- Identify opportunities for new products and new Principals in relevant market areas. Develop these opportunities in conjunction with the management team.
- Gather market intelligence and prepare market surveys.
- Reporting and admin functions related to the above including customer and supplier visit reports.
- Manage stocks for certain product ranges in conjunction with the Admin Office support.
Qualifications/experience required
- Technical knowledge of polymers, additives, plastics compounds and plastics processing
