As a Business Development Executive (BDE), you will manage your schedule, travel nationwide and build relationships with new customers in a competitive market while meeting key performance targets.

Role responsibilities
- Drive new business development and foster long-lasting relationships.
- Execute and support the Company's strategic sales plan, consistently meeting targets and expanding the customer base to encompass existing and new industrial sectors.
- Provide timely, accurate visit reports and updates to ensure continuous growth and performance.
- Collaborate with the Head of Sales to ensure pricing/quoting aligns with the Company costing policy.
- Identify new business opportunities that complement the Company's design and manufacturing capabilities.
- Manage and grow key accounts as directed, ensuring excellent service and retention.
- Contribute to the creation and execution of a Marketing strategy to support business growth and financial targets.
Benefits/package
- Salary: £45-50k, subject to experience, company car, and pension.
- Basic hours: Mon - Thu 8 am- 5 pm / Fri 8 am-1 pm, although position will require some flexibility in relation to off-site meetings with prospective customers.
Qualifications/experience required
- Proven track record in business development within the plastic moulding sector with a focus on Thermoplastic injection moulding.
- Solid technical knowledge of tooling /component design for moulding.
- Good understanding of polymers.
- Experience of working in a variety of industries, including at the T1 level.
- Familiarity with the thermoset (RIM) moulding process is advantageous.
- Experience of post-moulding operations including cosmetic finishing (painting) and assembly advantageous.
- Ability to prepare detailed and costed quotations/QAFs.
- Proficiency in using reporting /CRM tools.
- Experience in account planning, development and execution.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ideally educated to HND level or above.
