Role responsibilities
- As Area Sales Manager you will be responsible for technical product sales dealing with business development, key account management and processing the front end commercial projects and RFQ’s
- The successful Area Sales Manager candidate will be responsible for managing key accounts and generating new business in the South East of the UK
- In the role of Area Sales Manager you will represent the company at Trade Shows and Industry events
- Conducting regular customer visits both with existing customers and prospective new business leads
- Identifying and generating new business opportunities
- Driving social media and marketing in promoting company product range and services
- Maintain up to date appreciation of market trends and competitors
- Assisting in the launch of new products and services
- Effectively build strong business relationships with new and existing customers

Qualifications/experience required
- Candidates MUST HAVE commercial experience within the plastics industry
- Technical knowledge and understanding of ancillary equipment used within plastics manufacturing
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage own diary
- Negotiation skills
- Experience using CRM systems
- Full UK Driving Licence
