Role responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a robust training curriculum tailored to the needs of tooling at RWC.
  • Collaborate with industry experts to ensure training content is current and relevant.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Tooling Academy.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training, adjusting as necessary.
  • Ensure health and safety compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications/experience required

  • A relevant Engineering qualification is essential.
  • Proven experience in training and development, preferably within the tooling or manufacturing industry.
  • The Level 3 Award in Education and Training (formerly PTLLS) is desirable.
  • The Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement or Level 3 Award in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment (or equivalent e.g. D32/33, A1/A2) is desirable.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to design and deliver engaging training.
  • Knowledge of the latest industry trends and best practices.
  • Relevant certifications in training or education are a plus.
