2021 saw Broadway make a large investment in R&D with a new laboratory being built at their site in Holton, Suffolk. The laboratory at Broadway is equipped with modern technology, allowing virtually limitless colour selection and tight QC control. Their technical team are supported by a comprehensive range of analytical equipment including spectrophotometers, a QUV accelerated weather station and Xenon Arc UV chamber. With vast experience and the latest pigments and equipment to hand, their lab team are able to provide the highest possible accuracy and consistency with your colours. Recent developments include NIR detectable black masterbatches, an odour neutraliser additive and an endothermic blowing agent allowing a reduction in material usage and costs.
If you experience inconsistencies when colouring with masterbatch then Broadway's compounds can offer you the solution. Where customers using masterbatch have to dose and distribute this accurately throughout production, those using compounds move ownership of this process to their supplier. This can be particularly beneficial in situations where colour consistency is vital or where challenges in production are encountered.
