DETAILS OF PRODUCT RANGE
PRIME POLYMER
Our portfolio of stock plastic polymers and compounds can be supplied rapidly in response to customer requirements and includes:
• Polyethylene in high, medium and low density injection moulding formulations.
• Polyethylene in high density blow mould formulations.
• Polypropylene in CO, HO, glass filled, talc filled, barium filled and impact modified injection and extrusion formulations.
• Polystyrene in HI formulations.
• ABS in injection and extrusion formulations.
• Polycarbonate in injection formulations.
• Nylon Type 6 in filled, unfilled and impact modified formulations.
With flexibility in mind, our engineered polymer compounds can be manufactured from prime feedstock, recycled materials or a mixture of both. We can supply polymer in a wide range of colours including black and white incorporating UV, heat, process and anti-static stabilization where required.
ENGINEERED POLYMER
Luxus has developed and manufactured engineered polymers for a wide range of specialist applications.
The next generation of developments include products that are lightweight, highly scratch resistant and carbon positive.
Our technical capability allows us to engineer plastic compounds to meet ever more challenging demands in both prime recycled and combined products.
The standard range includes PE, PP, PA and alloys such as PC/ABS, glass filled PA and glass filled PP that can all be produced to any given specification. These are also underpinned by stringent quality control procedures to offer assured consistency, repeatability and performance.
FILLED POLYMER
Specialist filled polymers can be produced to customer specifications from both prime and recycled feedstocks.
Our filled polymer portfolio encompasses a vast range of options to meet specialist project engineer, specifier and designer requirements including flame retardancy.
Fillers include basic Calcium Carbonate through to emerging natural and carbon fibre materials in most polymers including PA and alloys along with the basic commodity materials.
ADDITIVES & COLOURANTS
Luxus has the expertise to supply a selection of high quality additives for polymers and plastics.
Designed specifically to enhance material appearance and performance, our additives include fillers such as glass, talc, calcium carbonate and barium. In addition, they improve colour, UV, heat, process and anti-static stabilization and enhance scratch and wear resistance.
We have also developed an environmentally friendly impact modifier. Styrene-isoprene-styrene (SIS) copolymer impact modifier 109004 is fully recycled and is ideal for enhancing materials such as PP, PE and PS. Its combined low viscosity and high strength allows it to be easily mixed with compounds and its natural or white colouration is compatible with most material colours.
Furthermore, Luxus has forged strong relationships with masterbatch and pigment suppliers and our Technical Centre can provide colour matched polymers to 0.5 DE specifications.

Recycled Polymer
We are a leading supplier of technical recycled plastic compounds, combined prime and recycled compounds and intermediate products. These are manufactured to the very highest industry standards and include:

We understand that many customers require specialised technical support.
In 2014, we opened a ground-breaking Technical Centre designed specifically to provide analytical testing, plastic testing services and polymer development solutions. Having been one of the first compounders to have technical abilities in the 1980’s, we have invested further to remain two to five years ahead of emerging market demands.
