SUMMARY OF BUSINESS ACTIVITIES
WHS Plastics Group is the largest independent Injection Moulding Company in the UK, with an additional factory in Egypt. Established in 1933, WHS Plastics is a private, third generation family-owned company with the fourth generation established within the business. We provide a "one-stop shop" solution for multiple market sectors such as Automotive, Off Highway, Hygiene, Extrusion, Packaging, Electronics and Construction. Our combination of skills and expertise means we can offer in-house design, in-house tooling and automated equipment thus providing a full “turnkey solution" solution from highly complex products, through to simple shoot and ship components.
*WHS have over 200 Injection Moulding machines across the group with available capacity, ranging from 20T – 2,700T.
*WHS have 7 Automated Paint Lines and Manual Lines across the group inc. Body Colour & Technical Paints.

- Extensive experience of Design and Development project delivery for major OEMs, specialising in complex and high-profile commodities and components. As a Full Service Supplier, WHS can execute full project solutions for our Customers, from initial brief and concept designs to robust and well-engineered injection moulded products
- Proven Design for Manufacture (DFM) and Assembly capabilities including design validation and risk mitigation, tooling feasibility, lean manufacture initiatives and cost-saving opportunities, ensuring both product & tooling integrity for diverse components/systems/manufacturing sector applications
- Experienced Computer Aided Design (CAD) team with an extensive portfolio of design best-practices and knowledge of a wide range of technologies and applications
- In-house Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) department, with the ability to virtually analyse and validate part designs against internal and external technical requirements
- Class leading Prototyping and Testing facilities available to support physical testing requirements and concept development
- Full integration with WHS Research & Development initiatives, working closely to continuously improve technologies and processes as well as reducing our impact to the environment
