SPECIALIST AREAS

Established in 1973, Abate Basilio & C specialises in the manufacture of high performances injection moulds for the plastics sector, predominantly within the packaging and in fast cycle parts fields. Worldwide patents for tooling production provide clients with a competitive advantage, this through considerably increased levels of productivity. This is achieved through: • Optimization of the injection and cooling cycles • Enhanced component ejection from the tool Our patented technological solutions also apply to mould cooling, mould centring, ‘in-tool’ handle production and assembly, modular printing, extraction systems, and the design of new containers with food-grade or industrial seals. These technical solutions offer our customers considerable advantages in terms of productivity and reliability, compared to our competitors. In particular, we are specialised in the manufacture of moulds for the production of thin-walled packaging products: • High performances flat and sandwich moulds • Moulds for food-grade packaging • Moulds for I.M.L. applications.
